Abuse

If you think your FTP server has been accessed by an unauthorized person through net2ftp.com, there are several things we can do to help you:

IP address

We can provide you the IP address that was used to connect to net2ftp. We keep access logs for 2 weeks, so report the abuse as soon as possible. Note that a proxy or anonymizer may have been used, in which case you'll have to contact other people to track down this person.

Block access

We can block the access from net2ftp.com to your FTP server. This is only a limited solution, as there are many other net2ftp installations and other web-based FTP sites on the Internet.

Ban keywords

We can add keywords (ebay, paypal, etc.) to a list of banned keywords to avoid the uploading of scams. Directories and files containing these keywords can't be processed using net2ftp. This is obviously also only a limited solution.

Please report abuses via email to david AT net2ftp DOT com; add "net2ftp" in your subject line.
Include the following details in your email:

  • FTP server name and IP address.
  • Username which was used to access the FTP server.
  • Exact times at which the FTP server was accessed (convert the time to GMT).
  • Your contact details (email address and if possible a phone number).
